This is my Krampus fantasy diorama. The scoundrel is creeping past your fireplace on Krampusnacht (December 5). 

Krampus is a mythical creature who has been a part of the holiday tradition in Alpine Europe as long Saint Nicholas. Krampus accompanies Saint Nicholas on his visits to the town's children on December 5. He threatens children who have been bad while Santa delivers treats to those who have been good. In modern Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Slovakia, troupes of men and women dress in elaborate, beautiful and scary Krampus costumes and parade through the town on the eve of the Feast of St. Nicholas. 

This diorama measures 6.85" tall. The base is 2" by 4.5" 

The Krampus artwork on this piece is by the artist Ben Robinson (botanicalfunk dot com). 

I print, laser cut and assemble the brick fireplace and Krampus figure in my Philadelphia studio.
